Dealership.co.uk Extends Free Trial to Support Dealership Sales During Lockdown

An online platform is supporting dealerships across the UK by providing free trials of its product during the government lockdown.

Dealership.co.uk provide a series of widgets designed to help dealers to boost sales via their website.

Normally priced at £29 per month, the business has extended its 3-month free trial for all customers to encourage more online transactions for dealers who are operating during this uncertain period.

The widgets can be easily installed onto any dealer website regardless of host or provider, allowing dealers to access multiple sales tools in a matter of minutes.

This includes online reservations, allowing dealers to take deposits on their vehicles 24/7 directly on their website; messenger AI, which replaces conventional live chat by sending targeted messages; and social proof, which shows how many times a vehicle has been viewed during a period of time.

Nick Maddren, co-founder at Dealership.co.uk, said: “The average dealer website has hundreds, if not thousands, of visitors in a single day. Many of these visitors will be browsing out of business hours. Combined with the current government advice and legislation, which has temporarily closed showrooms and forecourts, dealers are having to rely on their website as their main sales channel.

“We are growing very quickly and are currently onboarding 15 dealers a week for a free trial. I’m really happy that we have been able to help our customers during these tough times. Our online deposits tool has helped make remote sales possible and we have had some amazing feedback so far.”

Dealership.co.uk was launched in February this year by software developers Nick Maddren and David Dyke.
